We advise you to book most of the hotels below early in order to make sure you get a room and one at the best possible price. Keep in mind that the hotels which offer private car parks should be warned in advance if you come by car. 

Hotels near the university :

• Hôtel du Helder

38 rue de Marseille, Lyon

Located 5 minutes' walk from the university, this 98-room hotel will humbly greet you. It is ideal for low-budget guests and offers a car park 300m away from the hotel for 8€/12h.

• B&B Hôtel Lyon Centre Perrache Berthelot

43 rue Raulin, Lyon

Located 10 minutes' walk from the university, this 3-star hotel will allow you to sleep near the city centre. There is no private parking but a public underground one closeby.

• Adagio Access Lyon Centre Université

31 rue Chevreuil, Lyon

Located 5 minutes' walk from the university, this aparthôtel offers a private underground car park (for an additional cost).

• Meininger Hôtel Lyon Centre Berthelot

7 rue Professeur Zimmermann, Lyon

Located 10 minutes' walk from the university, this hotel has its own car park for an additional cost of 17€ per night, but be careful, there is a limited number of slots. Here, you can book rooms for up to 6 people, which is great for those of you who want to come to the seminar in numbers!

Nearer the city centre :

• Campanile Lyon Centre - Gare Perrache - Confluence

Located on the peninsula between the university and Bellecour square, this hotel will allow you to enjoy Lyon at a reasonable cost. It is close to Perrache train station and offers a private car park.

• Hôtel des Savoies - Lyon Perrache

80 rue de la Charité, Lyon

Located near the previous hotel, this hotel also offers a private car park. It is a bit more expensive than the previous one.

• Hôtel des Remparts - Perrache

19 place Carnot, Lyon

Located near the two previous hotels.

• Hôtel du Théâtre

10 rue de Savoie, Lyon

Located on the other side of Bellecour square, this 2-star boutique-hotel will allow you to sleep near the Old City at a reasonable price, if you get the cheapest rooms. However, it will take you 22mn (on foot or by public transportation) to join us. Be careful, this hotel only has 24 rooms, and you will have to park in a public car park called parking des Célestins for an additional fee if you come by car.

• Mercure Lyon Centre Plaza République

5 rue Stella, Lyon

Also located on the peninsula about 20 minutes away from the university and about 15 minutes from the Old City (or 10 by public transportation), this 4-star hotel is affordable if you book your room early enough. As for the previous hotel, you will have to pay to park in a public car park nearby if you come by car.
